William H. Dillon, O.D., D.O.

Dr. William H. Dillon joined Imhoff Eye Center in October, 2007. Dr. Dillon is unique in having two Doctor’s degrees. He is both an Optometrist and an Ophthalmologist. Dr. Dillon will treat patients at Imhoff Eye Center in Brunswick as well as travel to our satellite locations around Southeast Georgia. He specializes in Lasik surgery as well as cataract surgery, strabismus, blephoraplasty, glaucoma laser treatment, and other anterior segment surgery.

Dr. Dillon received his B.S. from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, then graduated from Southern College of Optometry as an O.D. and practiced in the United States Air Force before returning to Medical School and graduating from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine as a D.O. He completed his rotating internship and residency in New York City.

Dr. Dillon is board certified in Ophthalmic surgery. He practiced in Oklahoma City for 21 years where he acted as Surgical Director of the Vision Educational Foundation, Medical Director of T.L.C., and chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Mercy Health Center. Most recently, he practiced for 5 years in Fort Myers, Florida.

Dr. Dillon is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Society of Refractive Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and Florida Osteopathic Association.
